Double to a Million We started on 15 July 2007 and chose to start from one pound and double twenty times to one million pounds which I know goes against Stuart Goldsmith's original rules of starting with a penny that you find or are given. We can appreciate this but don't feel that the initial stages teach much in the way of discipline. That said, we take absolutely nothing away from all the Doublers out there who have started at a penny. Good on you! Our initial plan is to get to £250 by Christmas 2007.
